Sail - kayak trip to Lake Powell 2009
Bullfrog to San Juan River

In late June 2009, we put in at Bullfrog and motored/sailed to Rainbow Bridge and then on the way back, explored the San Juan River up to Piute Canyon. The picture below is where the water ends at Piute Canyon which was the farthest and most remote place up the San Juan river we made it to.

We traveled about 185 miles in six days using approximately 15 gallons of gas.

We got help in planning the trip from Southern Arizona Paddlers club (Thanks Norma Miller)
